Everyone loves the sea. It’s so big and so blue…
I spent long childhood holidays on the sandy beaches of Anglesey but Wales is so far away and the last time I was there, the beaches were very crowded. Nowadays, I like to wander around the Kent and Sussex coasts, particularly in the winter, when the sea is rougher and the light a little flatter.
Cuckmere Haven, beneath the Seven Sisters, may be one my favourite places on earth.
