Some of these cars are worth millions and millions of pounds. If you come across a Bugatti, a Maserati or a Ferrari, I think it’s rude not to take its photograph but it’s even better if there is a mechanic up to his elbows in its engine or a driver getting ready to race… I love Goodwood but I am always torn between the desire to wander around the paddocks taking photographs and the need to sit and watch the races. It’s very stressful (but a particularly welcome kind of stress).
